Our community is integral to our school. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who support our school through fundraising and life enriching activities called the Friends of St Leonard’s (or more affectionately at the FOSLs). Examples of how the FOSLs support school include:
- Paying for whole school trips and events
- Running Christmas and Summer Fayres
- Weekly tuck shop
- Weekly pre-loved uniform shop for St Leonard’s uniform (and soon to offer for our Secondary schools, St Anthony’s and St Aidan’s)
- Seasonal events for the children – such as discos, craft nights and Santa visits
- Organise collections for local food banks
- Generally raise the profile of St Leonard’s in the wider community
The FOSLs are always looking for new volunteers, so if this is something you would like to help with, please contact Mrs Hazard in the school office. In the meantime, you can follow them on Facebook.
Our Christian faith inspires everything we do at St Leonard’s. It is our mission to provide the best learning experience for every one of our children. We aim to give the highest standard of education and opportunity to every child in our school to enable them to live their lives to the full through faith and actions.
