At St. Leonard’s Catholic Primary School, we strive to raise pupils’ aspirations and broaden their horizons, opening up a world of possibilities and pathways to future careers.
Our curriculum is designed to motivate children, to give them self-belief and to make connections between their learning and life. This approach includes children learning to develop their non-academic skills (i.e. activities often based in the curriculum, but geared more towards: improving enterprise and life skills; financial awareness; socio-emotional skills; behaviours and character).
We enrich our curriculum, and opportunities for our pupils to get a taste of careers and the wider world, through carefully planned visits and visitors, along with some direct work with universities and local employers.
